"Internet" has the dubious distinction of being one of the most overused - and least understood - words in recent memory. Many people are getting tired of hearing and reading about the Internet, the "information highway", and anything and everything perceived by the word "cyber". Before you write off the whole endeavor, consider these two things:
1. The Internet is not going away. The technology is getting faster, better and more affordable. Internet use is increasing all the time. And the World Wide Web - the most exciting recent development on the Internet - is opening whole new avenues of possibilities and attracting new users.
2. The Internet used to be difficult to understand, and even more difficult to use. But no more - the Internet is now accessible with a few clicks of your mouse.
